Single, 25 year old Jace wasn't ready to find out that he was pregnant. He really wasn't ready to find out that he had an extra uterus. He DEFINITELY wasn't ready to find out that each uterus had a baby inside, which apparently meant that they could have come from two different hookups.
But now he's stuck trying to navigate figuring out how to tell his childhood best friend and a girl that he went on one date with that they're probably responsible for the fact that he ended up pregnant.

“What’s up Susan?” Kate asked, smiling around a mouthful of pasta.
“Would you like to go out with me some time?” The widow grinned, a little bashful as she pushes a strand of her hair behind her ear. “We can have some drinks at a dive bar a few blocks down before we leave.”
The archer slowly places the spoonful of pasta down onto her plate. “Sorry Susan, but I actually have a girlfriend."
Susan pouts, though not too upset about the rejection. With a curious look, she asked. “Who?”
Yelena sees the cogs turning in Kate’s head, and the mischievous glint in her eyes as their eyes met for a second, before they return to Susan. The archer’s lips growing into a smirk.
“Yelena.”

Joker directed his gaze to papers in question before a glint of recognition passed in his eyes. Reluctantly, he steadily got up, left the cradle, and moved to the bed, still keeping an eye on the baby.
“What’ve you got, Sam?” Joker sat on the bed, crossing his legs one over the other, gesturing to the chair.
Sam took that as their queue to sit down and place the envelopes on the table.
“I come bearing gifts.” They replied with a satisfied grin.
Joker rolled his eyes as Sam adjusted to the chair, “Is everything there?”
“Yep,” Sam responded, popping the ‘p’. They took the first envelope and removed a piece of paper.
“Jeremiah Thomas Napier, born on the 31st of October at 19:49 to a Jack Napier at Gotham City General Hospital. Here is his birth certificate.” While handing the paper over, they picked out the second sheet and continued, “and this is yours.”
