A rough palm told stories of its own, the scent of a hand uncovered the recent past, the warmth or coldness of it indicated either where a person had been or what they'd been holding. Every callus was a moment of repetition and every scar a blocked bid for life.

Damian had never been in Dick’s apartment by himself. He’d rarely been in it at all, because it was small and usually dirty and Damian didn’t really care for Bludhaven. Did anyone? But he’d come over last night after patrol, because Dick had promised him that today they could hang out--Dick said that a lot, “let’s hang out, hey, we never hang out, do you wanna hang out” like it was something Damian should know about--so he’d thought, why not?
‘Why not’ presented itself bright and early in the form of Dick shaking him awake on his terrible couch bed and apologizing.

Summary
There's a new rogue in Gotham who's been targeting Robin specifically. He calls himself the Red Hood. Tim goes to Dick for advice and ends up convincing him to come to Gotham to help him assess the Red Hood's threat level. Then, he convinces Dick to stay in Gotham and help him investigate so they don't have to bring in Bruce and worry him. No one wants a worried Bruce.
So, that's how Dick ends up stalking the Red Hood's territory and getting into fights with him multiple times a week. How he ends up flirting, seriously flirting, with the hooded rogue, he's less sure.

“Jesus. How many of you Super-freaks are there?” Jason’s voice came out deep and accented and sounded immediately familiar despite the fact that they hadn’t met before now. Somewhere between Troy Baker, Jensen Ackles, and a third thing in the back of his mind. But this Jason wasn’t animated, he was real. This was the voice he had been imagining in his head for every word balloon.
Prime had been hoping for instant recognition, but he’d planned for Jason not to know him. It was possible that he’d rehearsed a scenario or two in the mirror. Improvising all of his dialogue was harder than it looked.
“Ja—uh. Red Hood. I’m Superboy Prime.”
He grinned his best winning smile, the kind that said ‘Aren’t I disarming?’ and held no traces of ‘I’ve read under the red hood more than twenty times and may or may not have voted to kill you.’
In which Prime ropes Jason Todd into his long and somewhat convoluted path to redemption.
