Summary
Dick takes a half-dozen or so spoonsful of the soup before just pushing it around the bowl while he stares at it. Out of nowhere, he says, “I know you’re wondering about the things I said.” He eats a couple more spoons of soup, head hunched over the bowl.
Jason opens his mouth to deny it but then stops. It doesn’t feel right to not be fully honest with Dick after Dick had been forced to fully bare his own truths in the most brutal way.
“I might be. But that doesn’t give me any claim to the information. You don’t need to tell me anything about it.”
Dick lifts his head and looks directly at Jason, unflinching. “Tarantula raped me. And I’m guessing Roy probably told you about Mirage.” He says it conversationally, and his face betrays nothing, but Jason can’t miss how now his knuckles are white where his hand is gripping the spoon.

Kun’s gaze slid from the ceiling to Doyoung’s face, eyes amused. “I have a feeling you know what that’s like too, Doyoung. The eye of the storm.”
Doyoung felt his fingertips go cold. “I wouldn’t exactly say that,” he said quietly, turning back towards the front of the room. “I’ve caused a lot of chaos.”
Kun hummed. “So have I,” he said. “No one is completely unproblematic. ‘No one is free of sin,’ as my Grandmother would say. It’s about how you learn and improve.” He knocked their knees together, oddly comforting. “No one is free of sin, but repeating the same sin twice is uncreative. If you’re intent on being a sinner, make yourself an interesting one.”

The loud music cuts out for a second as the shitty old aux cord falls from the speakers, and a chorus of complaints drowns out whatever the guy says to Doyoung. Without music softening the world, as the cries die down, there’s a moment of almost perfect silence when Yuta hears Doyoung’s reply loud and crisp and so cold it could freeze someone’s balls off.

The man in question blinked, looking equally baffled by the question. From the corner of his eye, Merlin could see Arthur pinching the bridge of his nose.

“But you’re Emrys,” Merlin reminded the imposter with a sigh “You don’t remember siring any dragons?”
“I said it was an off day!” The man complained, trying to cross his arms despite being upside down. Merlin took a long breath. Lancelot had already walked away, but that did nothing to hide his howling laughter.
