Summary
His boyfriend, Chaz Mostert died in a fatal crash during the Adelaide 500 in 2020 during his first year at Walkinshaw Andretti united and nothing had really been the same since then for Cameron Waters. But over the 3 years since the crash, he seemed to be growing closer to fellow teammate James Courtney. One night Cam had a nightmare about Chaz's crash but James was right next to him, to comfort him, after the 2023 Adelaide 500. James offered to stay in Cam's room the whole weekend knowing that it could be a triggering race for him and had done it every year since the crash. Cam was extremely appreciative and that's when he realized, maybe James was someone he could love apart from Chaz but Chaz would always be in his heart. But maybe it was time to move on, to try and break away from the pain. Will it work out, or will Cam get idea's that it won't work out?

Summary
Max isn't in a good mental state, something happend in the night as he won his first Formula 1 WDC in Abu Dhabi in 2021, which makes him struggle like he never did before. He is insecure about who he is and what he has done back then. The incident causes his whole life to fall apart.
The story starts in February 2022, when the champion begins to work on his insercurities...
He will grow from his suffering, experiencing love, pain, hate, friendship, fear, fortune, wins and losses. Not everthing on his way will be good, but it will let him grow even more. Even though not everything is going to be easy and fortunate Max will get through it, somehow.
And he won't be alone in all of this. Charles will be his faithful companion on and off track.
