Megatron, Captain of the High Guard and reigning Champion in the pits of Kaon, gets assigned to work for Prima Prime - He has a new, shiny prospect who needs a Guard, and who better to protect them than the relentless, fearless Megatron?The job is simple: protect Prima's prospect from harm.
Easy enough since the peace treaty was signed with the Quintessans; the largest threat to Prima's precious prospect would be whatever paperwork the Prime's decide to throw at them...
Megatron expects to be bored to tears by this assignment... but when he finally meets with the prospect he quickly realizes why they need protection.It's not so much protection from others that's needed, but more so protection from themselves - to Megatron's detriment.

Exhausted and in pain after a long battle on a frozen alien world, Deadlock readies his ship for takeoff as the Decepticon fleet prepares to pursue the fleeing Autobots. He runs through his preflight routine, keeping an audial on the encrypted bounty channel to distract him from his injuries.
When Soundwave’s distinct monotone voice announces an absurdly high bounty for a certain Autobot medic listed as missing in action, Deadlock slams the emergency abort launch button. Despite his pain, he has to find Ratchet before anyone else.

“They're uh…my favorite flower.” Lark goes red and shrugs. Nicky laughs and looks at him fondly.
“Alright, dork.” Silence falls over them and Nicky finds himself staring out at the sun and the waves, listening to the ocean. It's been so long since he’s seen the sun. Code purple brought with it red sky and a black sun, and even before it the world was covered in a blanket of static and chaos that you could never stare at for too long.
“Marigolds.” Nicky says suddenly. Lark hums in confusion. “They're my favorite flower.” He shrugs. Lark laughs a bit and shakes his head, resting his forehead on his knee briefly.
