Orion knows where this conversation will be going, but he says nothing and lets D-16 finish just like what he asked, his relaxed frame from before now on alert.

All eyes were on him as Megatron finally ceased his march. His eyes glowed with a delight that only ever meant trouble. Optimus steeled himself, knocked back the last of his drink, and stood to meet his opponent.

Optimus needs to get out and talk to someone. Megatron needs to talk to anyone other than Soundwave. Somehow, they both end up at a Veterans’ Speed Dating event. Things can only go well.
