The morning begins with her untangling herself from Scaramouche’s body, wiggling out of his hold with a wince, prying his hand from her waist, finger by finger.
And like a clock running on "Lumine" time, as soon as she yawns and stretches her arms over her head, he cracks open his eyes, peeking at her from under his lashes. The sunlight falls over him in slivered rays that cut through the seams of the curtains, clawing over his face. His expression is undecipherable, murky river waters; on the edge of discontent, she decides, from being disturbed out of his dreams.
"You woke up late," Scaramouche says lazily. "It’s already noon."

Summary
After receiving his phone for the first time since Kaneki officially "went missing," the half ghoul realizes just how empty his life is without Hide.
Hide's acquaintances coerce their classmate to an upperclassman's house party with two promises: pretty girls and accessible alcohol. Interested in neither, Hide nearly declines the invitation until he discovers the party gives him an excuse to visit the ward he suspects Kaneki's hideout is.
The two meet under less than ideal circumstances.

Summary
Kaneki's worst fears come true when, covered in blood and kakugan blazing, he stumbles into the last person he wants to see him like that: Hide. But he's still wearing his mask, and Hide hasn't seen him since before Aogiri. Maybe there's a way to salvage this chance meeting, if he can convince Hide that he's someone else, and scare him away from the ghoul world for good.

Duke Hideyoshi Nagachika was a strange man, and Kaneki couldn't understand him. He had a nice home, a respectable name and tailored clothes. He had books, friends to share them with and letters that always smelled like days-old ink.
But he also had a glint in his eyes, one Kaneki couldn't quite place. A glint that told him he didn't care one bit about any of that.
Nagachika's heart was full of words, but maybe he lacked a good parchment to write them. Kaneki never knew his heart was a blank sheet ready to be written onto until it was too late.

Kaneki is sleeping on the couch, his kagune are lazily curled around him, too. What’s more cuter though, is that Kaneki is hugging one of his little tails in a very tight hold, almost as if he’s cuddling his kagune. Kanekis eyes are shut tightly, and his mouth is forming a dumb smile and Hide can tell that he’s having a good dream.
It’s kind of.. cute.
