"So, was that officially hotter than sex in an alleyway behind some crappy theater?" Valentino asks casually, propping his cheek in one of his hands.
Vox looks at him for a moment before replying,
"…Fuck yes."
Valentino giggles and nuzzles into his neck. "You're adorable. Te amo, Voxxy."
Vox frowns at him. "What the fuck does that mean?"
"Don't worry about it, babe. Nothing important." Valentino delivers a soft peck to his lips.
To his surprise, Vox turns around and buries his face into his chest, hooking one thigh over his hip to pin him in place. "…Stay. For awhile. I don't have another meeting for a couple more hours."
Something warm surges in Valentino's chest, and he can't help but crack a small, lovesick smile.
"Whatever you want, mi rey."

Then, he fists his hands in the lapels of Vox's vest and raises his head to just stare at him.
"What?" Vox raises an incredulous eyebrow at him, suddenly feeling self concious.
A moment of silence falls between them, and then—
"Fuck!—" Vox yells as Vax proceeds to unleash what can only be described as hell all over his clothes, fluid pouring out of his mouth like something out of an alien movie. Spit up. Or at least that's what Val had warned him about. Just great.
It’s going to be a long day, that's for sure.

Summary
What exactly is Vox’s fault, and how is that so? Well, great fucking question.
With the collaboration the two had made together, Val had quickly garnered thousands more souls at a rapid pace.
Which should be a good thing. Because as everyone knows, more soul’s means more power.
But. What was conveniently not mentioned was how during the strengthening process, the powers develop faster than the body. Which wouldn’t be an issue if Val’s fucking saliva wasn’t his main fucking power.
OR:
Val becomes more powerful, but his body needs time to adjust to his strengthening venom. Until then, he's affected like any other sinner. Which obviously is an issue.

Vox’s brain immediately froze up. All the arousal he had felt before was ignored in favor of shoving Val away from him. He pushed him and jerked back, hugging himself defensively.

Vox even tried to be patient, but he always cut the person off or tried to pull someone who he understood to be a translator for him, if it was worthwhile. If not, he would simply insult them and tell them to stop wasting his time.
Fate, always being ironic with him, placed a bilingual person in a bar to talk to him. Vox didn't know it at the time, but he would continue to hear that language for many years.

Vox is a pretty ignorant North American, but his bad luck is having a partner who loves to speak in another language just to leave him without understanding a word. And he keeps certain moments in his mind.
