He doesn’t want any of this, doesn't want to be touched or helped or spoken to or seen at all. He wants to stand up and walk away and fix it himself. He wants to be left alone to die. He wants to be held until it stops hurting. For better or worse, he’s not getting anything he wants right now.
Cloud Strife hits his head really, really hard.

Cloud doesn't know why the God of Destruction demands for sacrifices, nor does he care. He just wants to drag him off his throne, and possibly make sure he can never hurt anyone else.
It's quite hard to follow through with his goal. Partially because killing a god is a lot harder than Cloud expected, and partially because it turns out maybe Sephiroth wasn't so keen on hurting people as Cloud had assumed. -
