“Hm?” He glances up and their eyes lock, sending his pulse racing. The younger man breaks his gaze first; Hao watches as Hanbin’s attention travels slowly, deliberately, down to his lips once again. He’s never seen such intensity in Hanbin’s eyes, heavy with desire. It sends a thrill down his spine. Almost imperceptibly, the younger man's tongue darts out to moisten his lips, his Adam's apple bobbing as he swallows thickly.
Warmth floods Hao’s body, his skin searing hot where their thighs touch.
“Say I found that person, or… I think I did. How will I know if they want to kiss me?”
Or, when Hao decides to spend their night off watching a drama in his hotel room, he receives an unexpected visitor.

“It will be fine,” he asserted once again, walking to Gyuvin and putting him back down before he could duck his head under the stream. “You already have enough on your plate as is, don’t worry about us.”

Hanbin pushes off where their chests meet, his hand falling to Zhang Hao’s waist. He’s close, their faces mere inches apart, and he looks at him with stars in his eyes, like Hao hung them in the sky. Zhang Hao hadn’t noticed he was crying, not until he sees the shining trail of tears in his high cheekbones. He thumbs at the wet line, and Hanbin nuzzles his face in his hand, content, relaxing with a sigh. He hugs Zhang Hao again.
"Don't ever leave," and there's a please there, although it's silent.
Zhang Hao can hear it anyway.
Or the moments Zhang Hao thinks Hanbin might also be in love with him.

“That’s not going to be a problem,” Hanbin averts his gaze, suddenly finding the texture of the wall fascinating. He doesn’t know what drives him to admit a secret he hasn’t even told Matthew, but then the words are spilling out of him before his brain can catch up. “I haven’t been in a relationship since college and that’s probably not going to change any time soon.”
“Bad breakup?” Jiwoong surmises.
That’s one hell of an understatement. Hanbin’s smile is rueful as he says, “Bad enough that I haven’t been able to date anyone since. Everyone around me is happily taken or engaged, and here I am still hung up on someone from six years ago.”
Or, in the six years since Hanbin ripped his heart out of his own chest and watched Hao break it into pieces, he's dreamt of different ways their story could've ended and countless circumstances under which they might meet again.
