Summary
Merlin has worked hard to get into Cambridge University and has chosen Camelot College, for obvious reasons. Uther is the Master of the college and Merlin saves Arthur's life etc.etc. It's a reincarnation fic, but it's not that simple.
Merlin has come the long way round - he didn't die and become reincarnated like everyone else. This time though, he can get it right.

Merlin has devoted himself to Arthur. He was born for Arthur and that is his purpose. It’s why he was given magic, so anything else that may happen is just stuff. Merlin is not important – not like Gwen or Leon and, as long as he carries on saving Arthur’s life without anyone knowing about the magic… who cares if he is cold, or hungry, or tired? Who cares if he doesn’t laugh with the others? They are important and Arthur needs them, just as he needs Merlin to be his protector from the shadows. Gwaine and Elyan and Percival can protect and save the king in full view of anyone else, so they will be praised and lauded, and that’s right. That’s as it should be.

Summary
Arthur uses a magic thingy to follow Merlin around all day and discovers some interesting facts. He also discovers that Merlin really is an idiot, but then he already knew that. Agravaine is really horrid to Merlin in this, but Arthur doesn't receive any spoilers. Canon compliant.
I pay my licence so I reckon that means I own a teeny-weany bit of Merlin. -

Merlin is a sorcerer - so why is he afraid of anyone? He can blast himself out of cells, run away even as an old man from the crowd - who just let him go (!) and a flash of his eyes and anything can happen... like he has magic or something. Sorry - it's really silly...

C’est ma première fic en français (je suis anglaise et je suis très impressionnée qu’autant d’étrangers écrivent leurs fics en anglais) et je n’ai pas de beta, alors si j’ai fait des fautes, je demande pardon. J’ai regardé Merlin en français, et je me suis trouvée fascinée par l’utilisation de tu/vous. Tout le monde tutoie Merlin (sauf Mithian – tiens !), mais Merlin vouvoie presque tout le monde. C’est normal puisqu’il est domestique, mais même Kilgharrah lui tutoie. Après l’adoubement de Lancelot et Gwaine, il les vouvoie aussi, et Arthur vouvoie Gwen après leur mariage ! En Anglais, ca n’existe pas (meh – thee/thou ?) mais il est vrai que Merlin adresse Gwen en disant ‘My Lady’. Alors, j’ai décidé d’essayer d’écrire une petite fic. Qu’en pensez-vous ? Soyez gentils !

I answered a prompt on the white collar kinkmeme for a Roman AU... and here’s my first White Collar fic – un-beta’d, so please point out any mistakes...
So this is sort of Peter/Neal, although Peter doesn't act on it yet and there are shades of future, maybe (if I can get my head round it) including El (eep - threesome?). As is completely normal with me, any naughtiness will happen off-screen so you can imagine it in technicolour glory yourselves.

John Sheppard was bribed to go to Atlantis by being given Rodney McKay as a slave. He accepted and then had to work out what to do with him. John grew up with slaves all around him at home and in businesses everywhere, but he never gave them much thought... until he got one. Now he has to try to keep his slave safe from all the people who seem to have it in for him. And try and avoid Teyla's sticks, 'cos she isn't too happy about the whole slavery thing either...

Summary
John was bribed to go to Atlantis with the gift of a slave - one Rodney McKay. John accepted, not realising that actually slave-ownership can be quite tricky, especially when you are the laid-back kind of officer who isn't really into harsh punishments, and yet who has a strong sense of justice. Atlantis offers a whole new set of challenges and Kavanaugh isn't the only old adversary to pop up.
