“Well…yes,” Reed says. Again, like it’s obvious. “That’s what we do. We’re—” he stops and studies her. “You really don’t know who we are?”
Darcy glances around the lab, where half her monitors are filling with information being scanned and gathered from their docked ship, at the nervous interns who insist on wearing full hazmat suits clustered near the door. “I feel like it’s pretty obvious that no one here knows who you are,” she says after a moment.
“We’re the Fantastic Four.”
She stares at him for a moment. “Did you come up with that name yourselves?”

This is an absolutely delightful romance, with Hermione and Luna encountering each other in university, all from Hermione’s perspective. The academic setting is wonderfully realized, the chatacterization sharp and insightful, and the slow burn romance positively delicious. Wildly enthusiastically rec’d for fans of Luna and Hermiobr looking for an excellent post-Hogwarts story.

Summary
On an away mission gone wrong, Christine and T'Pring are stuck on an uncivilized planet as pon farr descends on T'Pring. In spite of their long-standing differences and unstated rivalry over Spock, Christine offers herself as tribute to resolve the blood fever with sex. But sex isn't enough. To ease the plak tow, a mental bond must be formed, and once formed, well . . .
Okay, so they might technically be married now?
Obviously, this cannot stand. But with T'Pring's family not wanting to acknowledge the bond and lots of complicated Vulcan legal drama, getting a divorce on Vulcan is a lot harder than looks.
And living smashed together in a (tiny but expensive) Shi'Kahr studio loft apartment while they try to sort this thing out is definitely going to lead to something. Whether that's bloodshed or bonding, we will have to see.Bookmarked by FnordChan
