Scott forces a smile onto his lips, despite knowing it’ll hardly be visible beneath the shine of light that comes from the crystals circulating around his head like a halo, the stones dipping lower to ward off the shadows that threaten to reveal his features. “Why, Portal, I think you’ve forgotten who you’re fighting. You’ve forgotten the true strength of The Speakers.”

Scott was still breathless from laughter as Owain approached him to thank him for joining in. “Hey, what was your last name again?” the knight asked offhandedly. “Gold... Something? Smith? Spring...?”
The blond elf shook his head in amusement. “Springwell,” he corrected.
“Ah, of course, of course,” Owain said quickly, and then he was off again, headed for the stage to make a few more remarks.
Scott sat in his chair, one elbow on the table, and an odd sound started ringing in his ears. “Gold... Smith,” echoed in his mind. “Goldsmith. Scott Goldsmith...”

Summary
When Scott went to the trouble of finding a magic user to help him sustain his immortality, even against vampiric means of death, it seemed like a great idea. He wanted to live forever, and the magic made sure that a little stake of wood couldn't be the thing to do him in. Which was shown to be necessary, considering the attack on him that occurred soon thereafter.
Unfortunately, it seems that the upset masses scrounged themselves up a magic user too. No one so talented or skilled, of course. Only money can bring that. But the witch got their job done in a simpler way.
By enchanting the tomb they shoved him into to never open again.

Or: Scott was awake for the 600 years that he was locked in a tomb. No amount of vampirism or stubbornness can save him from the horrific effects of such sensory deprivation.

Summary
Jimmy is desperate to save his brother, Grian, from dying of Watcher poison, and rumors say the nearby forest is where impossible bargains can be made. With nothing else left to try, Jimmy runs straight into the trees. What he finds there is Scott — a fae who offers a cure for the traditional price: Jimmy's firstborn child.
Jimmy agrees without hesitation. And then, somewhat entranced by how unfairly attractive the fae in front of him is, doesn't think before asking:
"So when should we start trying for a baby?"The question catches Scott so off guard that he can't quite bring himself to leave, and what was meant to be a simple fae bargain quickly becomes something far more complicated.
