Summary
Tommy is shifter which means he adapts to look like the person or people he trusts most. Most shifters keep the form of their first most precious person, usually a parent, for their whole life since once shifted that form remains unless that precious person breaks their trust. Tommy’s shifted form changed three times. And he is pretty sure the third won’t stick.

There are only three ways to leave a sounder. One, the sounder kicks you out, in which case it is up to the sounder what gifts the ousted member can keep. Two, a member of the sounder returns their gifts and officially breaks the bond. Finally three, one of the parties dies.

Summary
"If you throw that at me," The Blood God says, "I am going to tie you up. Put it down and we can talk."
Tommy's heart is trying to pound out of his chest. He can't win this. He knows that. But he can't just give up. This isn't like that first meeting. The Blood God is aware and conscious, not lost in the drive of his instincts. The Blood God would probably enjoy taunting Tommy if he curled up and showed his fear so blatantly.
No, Tommy isn't going to take this lying down. He will not go gentle into that good night. His eyes narrow. He sees The Blood God tense.
"Come and get me, motherfucker." Tommy snarls and lobs the lamp right at the hybrid's stupid face.

Techno hums, his hands slowly unwrapping from around his neck, though one lingers. He pushes his chin up with one hand, trialing a finger down his neck with the other. Tommy shivers at the touch, being reminded that the guy in front of him is a fucking vampire.
“Who, little witch?” He croons, goosebumps running up along his arms as Techno stops at his pulse point, no doubt feeling how fast his heart was beating.
Or Tommy is a lonely witch that falls right into the hands of three waiting vampires.
