Rook helped Lucanis break his curse and find his way home. Happily Ever After?
Not quite yet.
Because Rook has a prophecy of her own to deal with, and then there's that surprise betrothal to resolve - to make sure Lucanis marries the right princess.
They will need to travel to Quarinus, to confront Rook's parents with the conses of their quences and unravel the mystery that binds the royal family to their land.And maybe, just maybe, find a solution to the Illario issue while they're at it.
This a sequel to A Beginner's Guide to Breaking Curses, and I'm not saying it can't stand on it's own legs, but I'm pretty sure it will work better if you've read the first 'book'.

Varric is dead, and it’s all Rook‘s fault.
Well, perhaps not solely Rook‘s fault. But it it wasn’t for her, he wouldn’t have gotten involved, and she'd bet her own money he'd still be alive.
And now she might be next.
It’s enough of a threat that joining Varric‘s coworkers at Evanuris Inc. for some corporate protection starts to look like a sensible idea.
In this AU, the Veilguard are a team of corporate heroes - think Dispatch, Superheroes Anonymous or Velveteen Vs. - and for once, Rook is the odd one out to join join the team late.
Together, they‘ll need to find out why people - people with powers, people no one important is going to miss - keep disappearing. Even if Lucanis seems none too happy to have her on board, but hey, nothing in life is ever simple. -

Summary
The Dellamorte Family Circus is one of the most prestigious engagements in the business, so of course Rook jumps at the chance of filling the open spot when one of their performers has to drop out unexpectedly.
Turns out the girl who dropped out wasn't just an aerial artist like Rook, but also just happened to be partnered with Lucanis Dellamorte. They will need to figure out how to work together, and fast, because preparation for the next circus season are already underway.OR, the one where the author went to a really good circus performance and got inspired by a lovely two-person aerial silks act ;)

This is my happy place, the fic I wrote to relax and feel better about the world.
It is a a warm blanket to hug you on a cold night, a romantic slice-of-life, no life-threatening drama Rookanis story set in and around an unnamed university campus and the Lighthouse café with regulars and cameos from a variety of Dragon Age personalities. And yes, the title is an intentional nod at Legends and Lattes ;)Rating doesn't really apply before chapter 14, if you want to avoid the sexy parts ;)

Summary
In a land far, far away and not quite as familiar as you'd think, a runaway princess meets a cursed king-in-waiting. Together, they need to defeat curses old and new and unravel a prophecy in order to win their happily ever after.
This is a Rookanis story (or two) set in an alterntive Thedas - mostly just Antiva and Quarinus - in which I went Godzilla with the Dragon Age Lore.
