Summary
Part 3 of an AU where all the Yuboys are aware of Zarc (and Zarc has had marked impacts on their lives), but they all have different impressions/relationships with Zarc.
Standard was on canon-rails, Synchro still has a canon-skeleton, but is overall far more divergent. There will still be a Friendship Cup, for example, but many of the matchups will not be the same.

In his opinion, the whole thing was one massive accident.
He’d never actually killed someone before, corny video games aside. But the Monkey King had always said that the first one was always the hardest, and that the Lady Bone Demon was basically a walking skeleton anyway, bud! It’s in the name! So it was a perfectly normal escalation to do anything to win, no matter how dire the consequences were.
Or not dire. Sun Wukong thought the battle was a job well done. Perfect execution and all! Pardon the pun.

After the battle with LBD, MK struggles with the morality of being on the ‘winning’ side. Family is what you make it, he just needs to actually let them in first.

Summary
The Monkey King is invincible, just not in the way everyone thought they knew. To be fair, his wording wasn't the best when he said, "I'm invincible, remember?"
But the problem here isn't that, whatever he is, mortal would be far from the right definition.
No, the problem is, the group finds out through the worst way possible.

"What?" Wukong snaps, lips curling into an ugly sneer. "Time?" He laughs derisively. "I never have enough time."
She merely smiles, deceptively gentle. "No." She says simply, voice tinted with that same mockery of childhood innocence she had while possessing the young girl.
"Love."Wukong didn't flinch then, because heroes aren't supposed to flinch.
or, in the wake of the Lady Bone Demon's defeat, a fragment of her remains tethered to Wukong.
Neither of them are happy with this arrangement.
