Summary
When Zhongli looks at him, there is something fundamentally jarring about the way he looks at him. He looks at him like he's rapture, like something made for vagabonds and thieves during times of war. He looks at him like how he looks at archives, a bone-deep affection that runs deeper than just the memory of a god.
This is how Childe knows they've made a mistake - that through their lying stupid deal, he finds himself too deep. That he should have known that with the risks of dealing with a god, is making him a believer in the first place
Before Osial, Childe makes a deal with an Archon: keep their positions a secret and they’ll give each other what they want. Childe wants to finish his mission. Zhongli wants… whatever the hell he wants. Childe would have figure it out long ago if the damn dragon wasn't so obstinate.
Except the longer the charade goes, the less Childe understands. Zhongli seems to want something, but he also wants Childe. This is impossible because Childe is not available. He is not lovable.
A Harbinger can only be a sinner and a God their judgement. He shouldn't want anything else. But what if he does?

Summary
Childe has feelings for Zhongli. Zhongli has feelings for Childe.
Things could be so easy, but not when you're a fatui harbinger with abyssal taint and a literal god. Both of them having to deal with their difficult pasts and presents, on top of their obvious differences and their own insecurities. Because if you ask either of them? There's simply no way that the object of their affection could ever have feelings for them. Not after everything they've done in their past.

Peter's last memories were of "dying" on Titan then suddenly he was waking up in a much smaller body. A quick glance in a reflective surface was enough to let Peter know that he wasn't just in the body of his much younger self, but also that his eyes and hair were somehow different. Peter figured that his Healing Factor had fought so hard to keep him from dying that he had somehow been De-Aged, which honestly after donut shaped spaceships and purple exterrestrials, wasn't really too surprising. Lucky for him he still had all of his memories and as far as he could tell he still had all of his Spider-Powers along with some new additional Powers that he hadn't had before. Unluckily for him he soon realized he was in a different Universe than the one he "died" in. Despite having super powers he was still small and vulnerable and couldn't just live on the streets, he needed someone to take him in and adopt him and fast. Good thing he was adorable and knew how to play up how cute he was and good thing he knew that the richest family in the town had a habit for taking in orphaned kids.

“Wait kid!” And in that moment it came to him, “What if, what if we don’t forget you? What if we send you away?” Strange desperately called out.
“Mr.Strange… ” Peter had a sympathetic look in his eyes and Strange hated it. It wasn’t his life that was being destroyed, so why was Peter looking at him like the victim.
“Listen, I can send you somewhere there is no Peter Parker. There are an infinite number of universes, I can find one.” Strange said, more to himself than to Peter. And he knew this was dark magic, he knew he shouldn’t, but he didn’t care.
“I’ll send you there. Until I can fix this. Until I can bring you back.”
Or: Dr. Strange sends Peter to an alt universe where there are no Avengers, but they do have a thing called a Justice League. And sure Peter is homeless, but that doesn't stop him from being Spider-Man.
