Summary
Trudene is the daughter of Davu, the greatest chief of the impalas, and she follows closely in his hoofsteps.
Impalas and the broader antelopian herds have prospered in harmony with each other, but with peace giving way to the shadow of the predator invasion, an emergency meeting will shape the future for them all.
The Book of Lore is an old series of articles for the game Them's Fightin' Herds which are considered quasi-canon unless overridden by the story, as some parts have been.
Otherwise they are a good source of lore and character development for the first six characters and their native culture: but there are no entries for Shanty, Stronghoof, Texas, Nidra or Baihe.
This is my attempt to write a chapter for a friend's, NotSoDogNinja's, OC, who has a minor role in my story Cooling Down.
Part of the Fight for Foenum continuity, with the rest of my stories here.
She is planned to appear again in the future, though my focus is on the playable cast of the game as main characters.

Summary

This is the story of survival, both within and without. Deep below the surface, the residents of Burrow 76 have lived without any knowledge of the outside world. Within the Burrow it's residents are thriving and all are healthy and safe. Everyone is happy. All but one. This is her story.
