Summary
There are rules to how Sonic and Shadow interact. They bicker, they race, they spar, but never more than that. There are lines drawn in the sand that are not to be crossed. Sonic can yearn for Shadow, but he can't act on those feelings. That would break the rules. That would shatter the rhythm they've fallen into over the years. However, after a nasty fight that Sonic wasn't invited to, one of them crosses the line. There's no telling what will happen now.

Summary
Of all days these two had to show up on his second day of work. Just when he was getting a hang of things and secretly enjoying his job. Of course this wouldn’t go smoothly, it couldn’t. It’s Amy and Sonic; they had to make a big fuss instead of ignoring all familiarity at a professional setting. And this was a professional setting, Shadow took his job very seriously.
