"He's way too young for you," Mike muttered, whipping his head away from Robin and tucking his knees up to his chin. For some reason, he thought this conversation might go a lot worse for him if he looked her in the eye. "And you took him into the woods— where he got taken, I mean, I don't even—" and he shook his head, frowning deeper. "You went against his mom's orders! Can you not even respect his parents?"
A choked noise snapped Mike back to reality. "You— what?" Robin blinked at him, her mouth hanging slack. "I respect Joyce Byers. Very much."
With Will unconscious, Mike and Robin find time for a tense chat.

Summary
There had never been the right moment to say it, she’d read ‘how to come out’ guides over and over but something had always come up. First, it was that her mom’s addiction was getting worse so she’d have to stay with her dad, then her dad had his own problems, then it was Miguel in a coma, then it was going to jail, then it was her dad accidentally pushing her into a locker and knocking her unconscious with a permanent facial scar to boot and on and on. Before she knew it she was a passenger in her own life just watching it drift by the car window.

Summary
She was staring into a large cell, five times larger than the last one, with thick metal bars instead of the usual stone walls. People, prisoners, filled the room, crammed up against each other. Some watched them with hard eyes, others were too malnourished to even lift their heads.
She had been here before. Maybe not this exact prison, but one just like it. When she was just a child, before Fuladh had come and shone a beacon of light towards her freedom.
