It's a bit of a thrill to see Sam’s split second of utter confusion. It was hard to throw him off and it was endlessly funny to Bucky. Sam seemed to remember his own injury, looking down at it with a frown then rolled his eyes standing up.
It struck then that Buck was on his knees as Sam undid his belt above him.
Sam pushes his pants down, trained stare locked with Buck’s, the humor passes, dims and then Buck feels hot, the air heavy, the turbulence makes Sam lose his footing and Buck holds him by the hip. Takes over for him, and pushes the suit all the way down
Buck vibranium finger brushes against it, looks up and Sam is unmoved. It gotta hurt. “Are you acting rough or is it numb?”
“Not numb.”
“You like it too?” The question leaves him before he thinks better of it.
He brushes his thumb over the cut, finds himself leaning in and pressing his mouth over it and licks. Both of his hands grip Sam’s legs. Wilson makes a sound, strangled and high pitched, his hand finds his shoulder, right next to the freshly done stitches, pressed in the right way where the string tenses and the flesh aches.aka: 5+1 times sambucky bites and barks

Summary
This series is effectively one long story arc, which takes place 10 years after the events of Witcher-The Wild Hunt. Following the main characters of the games in a multi-pov style, the story delves into the politics of the continent post the Nilfgaardian invasion of the north. Ciri, having chosen a life as a witcher, is called back by urgent news to the capital of Nilfgaard. Pairings will change slightly over time, centrally ending up as Geralt/Emyhr. Adequately described as "slow-burn", one key intention of the series is to follow a natural progression of their relation through various stages, rather than a "fuck or die", magical setup, or political plot. The story also thematises the gen relations between Ciri and Emhyr, Ciri and Geralt, as well as Yennefer and other key characters from the games.

“I uh. I’m probably gonna head out,” Bucky blurts out, uncaring if he’s just interrupted a heartfelt conversation between the two. His head is spinning and his shoulder is still throbbing.
Torres shoots Sam a worried look, who shoots Bucky a worried look. Great.
“Hey man, let me just take a look at it,” Sam reaches forward, but Bucky is quick to pull away.
“It’s fine, Sam. I’m fine.” It might be a lie, but Bucky really doesn’t need Sam’s gentle hands all over his gross, sweaty, bloody body right now.
Especially in front of Torres.
Sam sighs, like he always does when Bucky resists any kind of gesture from him, and shifts his weight from one leg to the other.
“Okay. At least let me give you a lift home,” he tries, and before Bucky can open his mouth, Sam is already interjecting. “I brought you down here so I know you have no ride home. Don’t try and resist me, Barnes.”
Bucky grits his teeth again. If he had a dentist, he really wouldn’t be happy right now.
“Fine,” he cracks. “As long as we’re not flying,” he points out, earning a small chuckle from Torres.
Sam smiles, clearly pleased with himself. “Whatever you say man.”
