“Your son, the half human one, shows great promise.” He shot a sideways glance at Mark. It made him feel like he was being pinned to the ground.
“For all my benevolence, I demand your omegan son as my mate.”
Thragg looked back to Nolan, who’d become as pale as a sheet.
“I will give you time to think about my gracious offer. If the answer is negative, I shall end you all today and then move on to Earth."
In a blink, he was once again far from the group. All Viltrumites started retreating back to their planet with a shake of Thragg’s head.

Meanwhile, a nearby coven of witches must save the life of an innocent boy who had been accused of their acts of magic.
_______________________________Tall reedy grass swished violently aside as he forced his legs to run through the fields, barefoot and terrified. His breaths hot and heaving in the muggy summer night air.
Fire flickered red and bright in the darkness of the night behind him, torches held in the hands of an angry hoard. He could hear them in the distance, their screams, screaming for his demise, praying to god for his death, for his downfall.
His feet moved like a blur beneath him, his arms pumping at his sides as his lungs threatened to burst with the exertion of his body. His pale skin and stark white night gown were easily identifiable against the dark trees around him.
If he stopped for even a moment, they would rip him limb-from-limb. They would not hesitate to devour him.

“Tommy,” Phil looked concerned, eyebrows pinched and nose scrunched up, “I-” He paused, looking around the alleyway, as if it contained all the answers. Hell, maybe it did. Maybe they’d do some soul searching in this alley, and come up with the conclusion that not all witches were evil and deserved to be punished, that maybe witches were just people with a couple of tricks up their sleeves that not everyone had. Maybe they’d come out of the alley as a new family, this time with no secrets. “I--listen, Tommy, I don’t believe that you could be--” He paused again, fumbling for words it seemed. Tommy narrowed his eyes, “--you know. One of them. But, either way, I have to take you in. You know that.”

or: Being a witch is not easy, not by any definition of the word--not here at least. With witch hunts and bans on anything magical plaguing the country, witch hunters roaming every street corner, we focus on Tommy. The biases of this world spell trouble for him, as he's a witch and the youngest son of one of the top hunters in the country--his brothers closely following him in rank.
Really, it made sense that Tommy was found out.
He despised it nonetheless.
