“I think I’m in trouble,” Suguru admits, trying not to sound as desperate as he feels. “I’ve somehow pissed off a gang.”
Satoru, rather cruelly, remains indifferent. “Sounds like a normal day in prison.”
And then it hits Suguru—this man wants to see him beg.
Swallowing his pride, Suguru utters rather pathetically, “I need your protection.”
Now, all of a sudden, Gojo Satoru’s interested.
Or, there were only two options for Suguru to take. The first, is to join a prison gang. The second, is to become Gojo Satoru’s bitch.

‘Just ask him to coffee,’ Kugisaki says over her laptop.
‘You act as if I have any idea how to ask someone out. Also, what if he’s straight?’
Kugisaki groans. ‘First of all, suck it up dumbass. You’re too old to be shy about asking someone to coffee. Second, who says he’s straight? Who says he’s anything? Worst case, you make a friend. A hot, firefighter friend.’
Fushiguro flips her off.
‘Fushi, my dude, my bro, my idiot. I only say this because I am genuinely, truly, and completely afraid of the fact that you will set something on fire just in the hopes of seeing him once his puppy is ok.’
Fushiguro flips her off a second time. She doesn’t need to know that he briefly, extremely briefly, had considered doing just that.

Summary
Megumi was especially frustrated when one of his female co-workers seemed to blatantly flirt with one of the chattier, pink haired firefighters. They were talking closely, the firefighter inspecting a ‘burn’ (which was only a small circle of pink around her wrist) while his co-worker winced in pain.
She wasn’t a great actress, for what it was worth, her lips curled up into a barely concealed smile while tan fingers caressed the poor excuse of a wound. It was a brazen attempt at flirting, direct and cliche in a way that left Megumi mournfully rolling his eyes. As though the entire microwave situation wasn’t bad enough, now he was forced to spend his after work hours witnessing a painfully awkward and one sided display of courting.
Even the soft sound of her laugh ground at his nerves like lemon applied to a fresh wound, acidic and burning, a sore thorn in his side. It was overdramatic, too enthusiastic and obnoxious, as if she were hanging on to each and every word that left the firefighter’s lips.
His teeth ground together almost painfully hard. He knew whatever the pink haired man was saying couldn’t be funny enough to warrant such incessant and obnoxious cackling.
