Summary
As Marianne sat at her husband's bedside she lamented that their time together had been so short. Despite their age difference the couple had enjoyed a wonderful 35 years of marriage together. However, as she looked back at the beginning of their relationship she felt despair fill her at the blindness she exhibited back then.
If she could do it all over again she would run headfirst toward her beloved Christopher. She would not waste one second on Willoughby or anyone else. As she closed her eyes to rest she prayed that her husband passed on from this world knowing how much she loved him. Little did she know she would be given the chance to follow through on her wishes.
