Summary
“What do you remember, Cas?” he asked.
Cas paused; “Us.”
His face was conflicted as he said this, as if it was too hollow a word to contain the story behind it.
“Dean,” he said, slowly. "We were together.”

Summary
Dean Winchester and Castiel are not dating.
They’re really not. They just get hungry sometimes - who doesn’t work up an appetite during a hunt? And when they’re both hungry, it’s only reasonable to make a stop. But that’s all it ever is - just a stop on the road, nothing more.
Until one evening, when everything seems to shift; they’re booked in to have dinner at a fancy restaurant together, Dean finds out that Sam’s assumed they’re dating the whole time, and Castiel is walking around shirtless. After a night like that, nothing could ever be the same.- Language:

Summary
But lately, his friends had been making odd comments towards him. Always making comments about Dean and Cas spending time together. Always blabbing on about how they’re sooo cute. Dean knew they were being sneaky but these little comments were really starting to get to him.
So finally, he decided to actually confront Sam about it.
They were in the kitchen eating breakfast when he finally got the nerve to ask. “Hey, Sammy. What’s up with all the comments lately about me and Cas?”Series

Summary
“Do you always understand everything you feel?” Cas asked, one day.
He thought, obscurely, that Spring was the right time for a question like this; or at least this Spring was - a Spring that felt fresh and light and hazy, still dazed by the wonder of Winter’s passing. Dean, sitting in the car beside him, looked washed out by it - or rather, washed clean, Cas supposed he meant. Softened, in any case.
“How d’you mean?” Dean said. He turned to Cas, the bright sun shrinking out the darkness in his eyes - turning them green. Green like go-lights, green like mazes - no, gentler than both of those; green like the water-full leaves of succulent plants. Green like book covers, like peppermint-flavour candies.

In the last fourteen hours, Mary has seen Castiel steal a car, knock a federal agent unconscious, and level an entire warehouse. Summary
"The thing is, intellectually, Dean knows this isn’t permanent. Because even if he’s never been a parent, he practically raised Sam and he knows what empty nest syndrome feels like. Mom’s out there looking for her kids. Once she realizes that the only place she’ll ever find them is this bunker, she’ll be back. Or, at least, he hopes so.
But the emotionally raw side of him, the part that feels like the four-year-old Mary is so desperately searching for, has completely taken over. He sits in the middle of his bed clutching a pillow, fighting the lost-in-the-mall feeling in his chest with all his might.Cas left. Mom left. He can’t even keep his family together for more than two damn days."
Once Mary leaves the bunker, Sam figures that there's only one person to call that can drag Dean out of his funk.

Summary
At least Cas had tonight to look forward to. He had everything ready in his backpack – a rug to sit on, a Thermos flask of hot tea, some sandwiches, and his iPod. He’d worn his thickest coat today, and two scarves, and a pair of woollen gloves. He was aware – as he sat waiting for the bus, which would take him up the hill – that he looked distinctly overdressed, since the cold of the night hadn’t truly set in yet. The guy sitting on the other end of his bench certainly seemed to think so; he was staring at Cas out of the corner of his eye, apparently transfixed by the sight of winter clothing. Cas briefly considered making a sharp comment, but decided against it when he took a longer look: the boy didn’t look any older than Cas himself, probably no more than seventeen or so, but he was wearing a leather jacket and a worldly, hard-bitten expression that had Cas frowning and shifting his knees together, making himself smaller.

Summary
Cas brings things home, magpie-like, every time he goes out. Sometimes they’re for Sam, sometimes he keeps them for himself - but most often, he gives them to Dean. Maybe it’s a shiny pebble, or a flower, or a crinkled-up photograph of strangers. Or a pen, or a feather, or a pair of broken glasses.
Dean keeps them all, arranging them neatly on every surface in his room. The flowers he hangs on a string on a wall, so that they’ll dry. They make his room smell faintly of rose petals, which he likes without saying so.
Cas isn’t doing it to be cute. He doesn’t blush or flutter his lashes when he pushes a gift across the table or places it in Dean’s upturned palm. He only looks serious - perhaps tilts up a slight smile. Dean’s the one who’s bashful, still stumbling stupidly over his thanks, even weeks after this began.
