Summary
I have decided that from now on, whenever creative brain goes rogue and deletes things, I will be saving those to add to this. Which means sometimes you will get some scenes that are short, and sometimes you will be getting an entire work of fiction (or most of one) that I had typed out and ended up choosing to go a different direction with! This will be a collection for all fandoms (once my brain lets me write more than Rebels fics) so eventually you'll see more and more added to it! Just a way to get out some stuff I wrote that I liked but ultimately decided wouldn't work. And a way for me to have active work while I'm working on fighting creative brain!

Merlin groaned from his uncomfortable kneeling position and Arthur could see the tiny beads of sweat already dotted across his forehead. “How bad is it?” He murmured, trying again to push himself upright at an awkward angle to take a look.
“Merlin, my friend.” Gwaine said with a grimace of sympathy. “This is going to hurt.”
And Arthur took that as his cue. Giving Merlin no time to protest, he grabbed the arrow and pulled free both the weapon and a scream.-
Set in s03e12. Whilst trying to save the Cup of Life from falling into the hands of Cenred’s men, Merlin is hit with the poisoned arrow.

“Someone fetch the physician!” A voice called out from the centre of the crowd and Arthur watched one of his young knights sprint off towards the castle. He still hadn’t caught a glimpse of the injured man in between the wall of bodies blocking his view but it was obviously serious.
A path was cleared as he approached until only a familiar mop of blond curls was left in his way. Leon turned to look at him from where he was crouched on the ground, eyes widening as he failed to find the right words. “Sire…”
And then Arthur saw why. And his blood ran cold.-

She took a breath, allowing her magic to simmer away into a less murderous frenzy. Patience was all she needed now. Arthur may have escaped them, but he would soon be back.
