Summary
It’s been a trying time for Kate Bishop: uncovering her mother’s connections to a notorious crime lord, turning in her mother for said nefarious dealings, taking over the family business while her mother sat in jail, dropping out of college to do so, and becoming a vigilante archer fighting crime in her spare time. It’s a lot. But her constant companion (in addition to Lucky), the glorious moon in the sky, has made things easier for her. Comforted her. Talked to her. Wait, what?!
One night, the moon’s words to Kate change her life forever and show her a world that she’s been missing.

Both Kate and Clint whip their heads toward the gallery where Yelena is leaning against the banister, wearing nothing but one of Kate’s archery sweaters from college and a teasing smile. Lucky is sitting at her heels, looking up at her with his one good eye as if he’s just as in love as Kate is. Head over heels. A complete goner. Kate is not blaming him. Clint on the other hand is dissolving into a coughing fit and pushes his mug away.
OR
Clint keeps interrupting Kate and Yelena's first 'morning after' and gets much more than he bargained for.

Summary
Yelena Belova is the workaholic, no-nonsense manager of Eleanor Bishop's campaign to become the next mayor of New York City.
Kate Bishop just finished her last year at college and thinks her mother's political endeavors are just another power-grap. After she's guilt-tripped by Eleanor into helping at the campaign as a volunteer, Kate and Yelena run into each other and sparks fly. Not all of them good at first.
Read how Kate and Yelena go from (one-sided) enemies to fuck buddies to... something more? All the while trying to keep what they are doing from the rest of the campaign and most of all from Eleanor Bishop.

So, Kate Bishop. Yes, Yelena tries not to think about her. The missions usually help. The alcohol definitely helps. But there’s no vodka here, no extraction team coming, no last-minute reprieve. Just the steady beep-beep-beep of the timer and the temperature that rises along with the cold acceptance that there’s no getting out of this one.
Or, Yelena hasn't seen Kate in more than a year and it takes almost dying a few too many times for her to finally do something about it.

There was a trick to Three Card Monte, and that was the Queen was never on the table. Grifting is a lot like that, to Yelena. Conceal and lie, and finally rob the mark of everything before they know the trick. And Yelena is a good grifter; but there was something about Kate Bishop, White Knight for Bishop Security— the thoroughness and intelligence, and not to mention that she was full of surprises— that was all very bad for an art thief. She was so going to get caught, which was embarrassing.
