Summary
Everything Changes in the time it takes for Dick to pick up the phone.
Jason had been tortured by the Joker.
Dick runs back to Gotham, back in the city he grew up in to help his family heal.
And to make thing worse someone is following him.
“You didn’t come home last night.”
Dick jumps at the voice, nearly dropping the juice, surprised to see Bruce standing in the kitchen staring at him with a furrowed brow.
“Hey B.” Dick greets, setting the juice on the counter. “Are you okay? You’re not normally up yet?”
“Why didn’t you come home last night?” Bruce repeats, ignoring Dick’s question. “Did something happen?”
Dick opens his mouth, about to tell Bruce all about his run in with Tim, to ask if he’d heard anything about the Drakes recently. Then he takes a good look at Bruce and the question dies in his throat.
Dark circles carved deep into his face, scruffy unshaven face, gaunt cheeks, and worry clear in his dull eyes. Bruce had been worried about Dick, worried another son had just disappeared without a word. The guilt felt like it could swallow him whole.
“Patrol ran late.” Dick lies. “I ended up crashing at one of the safe houses.”

Rather than the vigilante Red Robin, he turns out to be snobby, irresponsible Timothy Drake who has nothing to do with the Bats and they want nothing to do with him in return.

Cuddle Pollen:
A type of pollen created by Poison Ivy that sticks to one's skin resulting in coldness and excruciating pain. Only help currently known is human contact for a minimum of 36 hours. Hence the name "cuddle" pollen. It is unknown which side effects take place when left exposed multiple times and let untreated.Tim Drake is about to make a scientific breakthrough!
(This (supposed to be oneshot) has been rotting in my drafts since begin december of 2024 and I think it's finally time it sees the light of day. Basically I turned my chronic pain that was at it's worst in 2023-2024 and projected it onto Tim) UPDATES FRIDAYS
