Summary
In the Pride Ring, there is a hierarchy. The Queen, the Prince, and the Sinners. Folks still whisper about this prince. Who is he? How did he come to be? Why had the Queen taken him in? Nevertheless, he was their prince, and much more present than their real queen. Millions of years follow and he meets Lucifer the sinner and makes a deal with him. Lucifer shall act as a bodyguard/business partner in all of Al’s endeavors, as a repayment of when the prince brought Lucifer in for shelter. When Lucifer pitches an idea about a hotel that could rehabilitate the sinners instead of the yearly Exterminations, Al can’t help but chuckle, but does relent to this misguided project. Who knows? It may be entertaining!

Lance took the words like a beating, flinching slightly and swaying on his feet. He blinked groggily at the shorter boy yelling at him and tried to shake his head to get his ears to stop ringing after the explosion. Everything was a blur and only a few words came in and out of what Keith was shouting in his direction but he was pretty sure he got the gist of it.
“Yeah I’m stupid, stupidly in love with you, ya idiot,” Lance grumbled.or
After Lance risks his life to save Keith on a mission, Keith rips into him about how stupid it was of him. Lance lets slip out another reason for his alleged stupidity.

He screamed, suddenly sitting up.
His skin was clammy, heart racing in a state of panic and his breathing coming out in ragged breaths. Snatching his shirt in order to try and calm down, Keith noticed that he was shaking.
Why was he doing that?
Where was he?
Looking around, he noticed the room he was in. He relaxed.

He was home, in his shack out in the desert.
