    “That’s what we were wondering before Lillie came in, though we thought we would be getting two new classmates,” Mallow says.

    “The Professor should be here soon,” Lana reminds them. “He’ll know.”

    They ponder over the extra desk for another five minutes when Professor Kukui walks in-

    “Alola, class!”

    -and the answer to the extra desk as well.

    (Ash moves to Alola and the shenanigans begin again.)
