Alec. Magnus tried to think if he knew anything from the New York Institute with that name at one point but came up blank. However, this was not his priority either. “So what business are you here on, Alec?”
Alec shrugged. “Oh well, I am an informant. But not by the Clave standards, by my own."
OR
Everything is the same as the canon show, except Alec finds out he likes wearing pretty things and along with Isabelle, they use their charms to get information from Downworlders on their missions. Things get interesting when Alec and Magnus's paths start crossing and Magnus feels very intrigued by the Shadowhunter's way to operate.
