    "If you two think I wasn't propositioning DP, you're wrong," Peter said sternly. "It's called flirting. Maybe look it up." That seemed to shut all three of them up, from the way Wade almost dropped his taco (a cardinal sin).

    Wade came back online a few moments later. "You two?" he ventured, comically looking over both shoulders. "It's just me and you up here, baby boy, unless you've got some invisible friend I haven't met yet."

    Peter was already shaking his head before Wade stopped speaking. "Dickhead and asshole, up there," he said, motioning with his taco-filled hand up at Wade's head. "They never know when to leave you the hell alone."

    Three months after his existence was erased, Peter Parker was not doing so well. His solace came from knowing that at the very least he had managed to save his city in the end.

    Apparently, though, Peter realized as Doctor Strange explained to him that he had to give up even more, losing everything-and-then-some just wasn't enough.

    OR

    The multiverse continues to collapse in on itself. Doctor Strange discovers the source of the problem as Peter Parker. The only viable solution is to remove Peter from his original universe so that no more entities will be drawn to his presence there.

    Peter is sent to a world that lost its Peter Parker, and finds himself lost in a sea of people he'd grieved who had all grieved him in kind.

    They met by pure chance.

    Peter was working a very much illegally obtained job as a pizza delivery boy, and Tony had just escaped Obadiah's dreadfully boring client briefings. Peter makes his last delivery to a shitty nightclub- the same shitty nightclub Tony picked to avoid paparazzi.

    Tony is not gay. He's really not. He's just drunk and painfully horny. He figured he'd give it a chance because this guy was very hot- and definitely on the young side but that's what bouncers were for, right? To check ID.

    He didn't expect to fall in love. He didn't expect to be someone's dirty secret. He didn't expect to be the one begging for a relationship.
