Summary
Inspired by Geraint Wyn Davies' brief cameo as an unnamed drama teacher in the 2007 Nancy Drew movie. His brief appearance was a shot of glee in an otherwise horrifically dull film. Of course, once I saw it, "Bella Swan in drama class circa New Moon" was the idea that came to mind. Why? Who the hell knows--but Bella needs an adult around who's actually sensible, observant and empathetic. Written for the TwiSpiteFic community on LJ.
Maybe Bella Swan was part of his class because she needed to be. Meet David Pierce, former Broadway thespian and current Forks High School drama teacher. He loves working with his eager young students, though some require more special handling than others.

His lovely golden hair is curled in the same style as Gilderoy's, with a single long lock falling just so above one baby blue eye. They are a deep cornflower blue, Gilderoy's favourite shade—he has the exact same eyes, but of course, that has nothing to do with his liking of the colour.

A crack-ish fic about a Tom Riddle who had no idea that his mother was a witch, but assumed she was from the circus as Mrs. Cole had said. At Hogwarts he learns of prejudice, but instead of embracing it and cultivating a supermacist, muggle-hating persona, he goes the opposite direction after being called mudblood one too many times and deciding to roll with it. Genius to a fault but considered an outcast, Tom surrounds himself with others like him, including the unpopular Myrtle Warren and the half-giant Rubeus Hagrid. The rag-tag bunch of Hogwarts pariahs form a close bond over the fact that everybody looks down on them and the mutual hatred for Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans (and Olive Hornby, that bint). Features a not evil but insane Tom Riddle.

Summary
It was no secret that she loved Christmas. She’d squealed about it every single time they’d had a mission that dealt with Santa or anything even vaguely related to Christmas. It also wasn’t a secret that Jenkins was two steps below a scrooge. That really didn’t bother her. After the first year he’d stopped trying to take down her decorations and begrudgingly allowed it between Black Friday and the Epiphany. He even accepted the glasses of eggnog she foisted on everyone, provided she spiked his with his favorite whiskey. But grudging acceptance was all she’d managed to get from him, certainly just humoring her, especially now that they were together. Even with Eve to channel her overabundance of Christmas Spirit, kissing under the mistletoe and everything else, she still really, really wanted Jenkins to enjoy the season too. Maybe, just maybe, there's something out there that she can gift him that might help him out in that regard, and she's on a mission to find it.
