Summary
Bakugou is the drummer to a new up and coming punk band named Riot with his band mates Denki and Jirou. After their original bassist ditches the band for another more successful group, they hold auditions to find the perfect match. After trial and error, a new red haired bassist falls into their group like a meteorite.
Kirishima, being kicked out of his jazz combo for being too reckless on stage, finds a flyer for Riot at the local coffee shop. While he knows nothing of the punk scene, he auditions anyway and learns where he truly belongs.
When the local scene posts about an upcoming battle of the bands, the crew decide to set their sights on the grand prize of $4,000. But as they work to get first place, old wounds and new struggles for all the members start to open up.

Dodging expulsion after a fight with a teammate and the loss of his athletic scholarship, Katsuki ends up back in Musutafu Bay. The only school that will take him after catching wind of the reason for his transfer is the university in his hometown. There, Katsuki begrudgingly reconnects with Izuku and some of the other faces from his childhood. When Izuku brings up the idea of Katsuki joining the university's water polo team as a way to keep swimming and maybe make some friends, his parents jump at the idea and convince (read: force) him to join.

Kirishima Ejirou is annoying and Katsuki wishes he'd leave him alone... at least at first.
