Summary
After an encounter deep below Hyrule Castle goes horrifically wrong, Zelda finds herself on one of several sky islands that appeared in the sky and Link has disappeared without a trace. Immediately, she pledges herself to the task of finding the young knight who saved her not so long ago. Down on the surface, things escalate one thing after another.
Link, in the meantime, finds himself in the era of Hyrule's founding, but he soon learns that there's more to his predicament than meets the eye when he meets a man of the Gerudo who looks oddly familiar...

During their travels they receive word from a worried Purah about a hazy gloom making people sick, Zelda wants to investigate immediately and they find themselves in the depths of Hyrule Castle.
AU where Link is the one who was sent back in time and is desperately trying to return to Zelda and perhaps help a budding Kingdom along the way.

But when his brand new Nintendo Switch starts acting out of the ordinary, Lincoln Matheson's world suddenly merges with another in order to create a real life adventure he wasn't prepared for. He and his friends have the powers and appearances of people they're not, and Lincoln - the kid who's good at skateboarding and bad at math - is the only one who can set things right. Now him and his friends have to spend their spring break fighting The Calamity. The chosen hero has never been so terrified.
(This piece of fan fiction is a rewrite of one of my oldest works on the internet, written when I was around 13 or 14. This rewrite involves a more cohesive plot, more natural dialogue, as well as some utilization of the then-not-released Breath of the Wild lore. It's basically a reverse-isekai. Hope you like my retry at the premise!)
