“You're making it sound like a drug deal, Pom Pom,” he said with a smirk in return, and before she could make a comeback, he leaned in, “But sure. I know everything there is to know about this circus.”

His hand hesitates over the door handle. Scott shouldn’t have come here, he knows. All of it would be so much easier if he pushed him away. But somehow, he finds himself turning the handle anyway, opening the door to where he knows the very source of his heartache lies.
Jimmy waits for him, like he always does, bright and welcoming. So, Scott puts on a smile and pretends he doesn't remember that they were in love: in another world.
