  1. Summary

This is all set in the Winners Take It All universe, where we see Riddle and Floyd's life progress from all sorts of POV's.

These will mostly be one-shots and missing moments that aren't in the main fic.

All the fics under the main one will be sorted in chronological order.

And if it's referenced in a main chapter, in the end notes I'll add a link to the fic it's mentioning. And vice versa, I'll link/tell you which chapter of the main fic the fic is referencing!

    Summary

Mu Chen lay on the bed, deep in thought. He pondered what to do about his transmigration into a character who broke off his engagement for a scheming woman, spent lavishly for her, fought to the death with the male lead for her, ultimately caused his father's death, and met a violent end.

    Summary

"What is your name." He wouldn't care usually, but the way this kid had avoided it last time he asked, he was curious.
"I've had six so far." He answers slowly, weighing each word. "Which one do you want?"
Six names? Yep, there is something going on there.
"The real one. The one that fits you best."
"Not my birth name then?" He sounds almost hopeful?
Andrew waits until he sorts through his thoughts. He has another hour before he has to go back.
"Abram." He decides after a long pause. "It's my middle name. The only one that doesn't have to change because it can just as easily be left out."

Drew dropped into the bench beside him and stared at his fingers until he flattened them against the table. "You left me to Kevin. What do you have to be pissy about?"

The rest of the table looked immediately guilty at being caught out. "They want to know if you enjoyed stabbing small children when we met as kids."

"Ah... Well, this means I can pay you back for the last half hour then." The corner of Drews mouth twitched as he slid his gaze to Matt and Dan. "You will be happy to know that your new recruit gave me my very first blade. I didn't start stabbing people until after I met him."

"It's not like I told you to stab people..." Neil defended weakly, shrinking in his seat as the tables attention fixed on him.

"Just for that." Drew smirked, standing up. "He also gave me the lockpicks, and taught me how to use them."

Three jaws dropped open with that information and Drew winked at him before turning on his heel and leaving.

"Rude!" Neil shouted at his back, Drew flipped him off without turning around.

"Did you seriously start Andrews criminal career?" Nicky's voice shook, as he stared wide eyed at the cafeteria door.

"Hardly." Neil scoffed. "I gave him the means to defend himself, and find a way out of tight situations. It was the least I could do." (6)

Matt looked at the time-line again as he stirred the sugar into his coffee. The list of questions they had posted beside it had all been answered in detail. The first one; When did they meet? was answered with a story about a park bench where they ignored each other’s existence. Where they foster brothers was answered with a story about meeting each other again at a cult followers house and making a blood pact with the devil in exchange for daily meals. The one about whether or not they killed people had a single word written next to it, outlined in different colours and underlined. Yes.

"So that means...?" Matt wanted to know.

"For every truth on that board, there are two lies. Have fun trying to figure it out."

The timeline would be amusing if it wasn't also terrifying. There was not a single pleasant note made on it. Dates were marked and from what he could tell, Andrews events were written in black and Neils in red. Things like, was shot in Russia, broke into the police dept. and burned my file, fell out the roof and broke my arm, plotted murder for the first time and buried my mother’s bones on the beach, were labelled. Some were both amusing and depressing. Andrew wrote, danced in the rain - was sick for two weeks, beside it, Neil had added 'I told you not to dance naked in the rain!' Andrew responded, 'I was fully clothed, and it was worth it!'.

Those small sidebars were the only entertaining parts on there. The rest were dedicated to abuse, pain, criminal acts or murder. Truth or lies, these boys did not have a pleasant life. (8)

“Andrew prefers attractive and mysterious athletes that don’t understand flirting!”

“Oh, you…” Andrew started, feeling the heat creep up his neck. Dammit, he really did like this girl. “You think you’re clever.”

“I have eyes.” She smiled brightly as her boyfriend watched them closely. (19)

“What’s the most attractive thing about Amelia for you?” He settled on with a satisfied look.

“Attractive?” Andrew scoffed. “You mean physically?” Aaron nodded, relaxing back against the table with his elbows up on either side of him, thinking that it was a safe question. Andrew watched him take a mouthful of coffee before he answered. “Her boyfriend.”

Aaron’s reaction was immediate, spraying coffee from his mouth all over the grass in front of them and coughing violently. Andrew sipped at his drink in quiet amusement as Aaron wiped his mouth with his shirt and noticed the coffee that had sprayed all over his jeans; Andrew was happy that Aaron hadn’t been facing him at the time.

“That was beautiful.” He mused as Aaron continued to wipe himself down. “Can you do it again?”

“I thought you liked Amelia!” Aaron spluttered, cursing under his breath at the state of his coffee-stained clothes.

“She is a friend.” He enunciated clearly, hoping it would be the last time he had to explain this and knowing it wasn’t going to be. “I have no romantic or physical interest in her.”

    “So, you’re…?”

“Gay.” Andrew deadpanned with a hard look at his brother. “Bet you’re wishing you picked a different question?”

“No.” He shook his head quickly, gesturing that he was alright. “No, I just didn’t expect… Does Nicky know?”

“I’ve had no reason to tell him.” (25 + kiss)

'Everything crystalized and solidified in his mind as all the data converged. There it was, the answer he’d been looking for since the night he’d come down to find Damian in Robin red, green, and gold. He guessed he was finally ready to see it, instead of turning away and clinging to the past. Clinging to a relationship that no longer existed.'

Then he’d grabbed his phone and headed for the kitchen with determination, pulling up an old photo as he went. The recipe had been written in a curvy, playful hand, one that added cute flourishes and dotted the i’s with stars. At the bottom was a cheery note, Hope this helps, Tim! Love you!.

When Bernard had woken up, he’d finally cried the tears he’d been holding back when Tim shyly presented him with Dana’s chicken noodle soup.

And after, when they’d cried themselves out and were wrapped in one blanket, huddled over steaming bowls of soup, Tim had looked at Bernard, looked at the tentative smile on his face, looked at the way his eyes were brightening with each spoonful, and thought, I love you. I love you. You are my heart.

“I’m just romantic,” Tim whispered. Kon blinked, as if the word was something new to him. Tim could see the gears turning in his head as he flipped back through all the memories he had of Bernard and Tim together. Realization dawned and Kon gave a smile that stretched his whole face.

“Omigawd, you are! You’re total saps, the both of you!” (5)

    “You saved me.”

Bernard stopped. The static of the still-muted television stopped. Even the sound of the rain on the windows, winding down to a chilly drizzle, stopped. The only thing that existed was the glow of the overhead lamp and the way it caught on Bernard’s hair. The only thing that mattered were those green eyes, fixed on Tim and full of love.

“We always talk about our first date and how I came to save you, but you saved me too. Maybe not that night, but…in the thousand nights since, you have. You…Every time I try to put into words what you did for me, I feel like I fall short. I feel like I could never fully express how much meeting you again saved me. How it inspired me to save myself.

“You took my hand and helped me pull myself of the darkness. You made me laugh again, you kept me grounded and stopped me from spiraling when things got bad. You still do. You…you knew, and you carried that secret for me and protected me. You dragged me along on crazy cryptid hunts and got me into your video games and the happiest I’ve ever been is being in our kitchen and talking to you while we cook. You – God, Bear, you make me so happy. …I…When you smile, the whole world lights up, it seems like. You remind me that there’s a dawn and now I fight to see it at the end of every night.”

He popped the ring box lid open. In the light, the heart cut diamond glimmered, sending rainbow shrapnel across the tear tracks on Bernard’s face.

“Robin might be meant to be the light in the darkest of nights, but Bernard – you’re my sun. You’re my dawn. Will you marry me-”

Bernard’s mouth swallowed the last word. He flung himself at Tim, kissing him deep and desperate. His lips tasted like mint chapstick and the salt from the tears that had been leaking out of his eyes since he’d realized what Tim was gotten out of the drawer. Tim barely managed to hold onto the ring box in his scramble to press as close to Bernard as possible, to sink into his chest until their hearts merged into one. They were already beating together, fast and strong, echoing in Tim’s ears like bells.

Bernard was holding Tim’s face, but one hand drifted down between them and pressed over Tim’s heart like he had earlier. Tim tightened his grip on the back of Bernard’s head and pulled him closer, slotting their mouths together over and over again.

“I can’t believe – You are so – Argh!” Bernard gasped, kissing him in between the exclamations. He went to kiss him again, but both of them were smiling too much. Instead Bernard had to content himself with butterfly kisses all over Tim’s cheeks and rubbing their noses softly. (8)

    Summary

“How did you get in?” he says, in case this is a magic talking cat. The cat blinks at him. “Um. Where’s your owner, or person, or whatever?”

The cat gives him a kind of flat stare, and then turns to look at his desk.

Bernard glances over. A portion of his desk has been cleared, and in the center is a folded piece of paper with his name on it.

“What the fuck,” Bernard mutters. And then, because he’s an idiot, he picks up the paper without gloves or anything to protect him from secret poisons or coke or whatever people put in neatly folded notes in the middle of a teenager’s bedroom and unfolds it.

    The typed note reads:

    Bear,

Im sorry. Need you to watch my cat for a few days. Hes very smart just leave the window open for him and hell do his business out there. Pls feed him canned tuna if possible NOT CAT FOOD. If not hell hunt mice.

    Best
    Tim

    Okay. Weird.

Tim gets turned into a cat. Instead of reporting to Bruce and risk getting benched, he spends time with Bernard.

“I keep thinking about when the dean said.”

“About us having a son someday? Because I’m pretty sure I put into the prenup that I wanted a girl as my first child, so don’t go buying any blazers or ugly ties in the near future.”

Tim waved that away, not even interacting with Bernard’s joke.
