God I miss the days when you could show up to a strangers farm and he’d say “Whats your name, boy?” and you’d take off your hat and hold it to your chest to better let him see your face and reply “Why I aint got one sir, on account of my mammy passed on before she could give me one” and he’d tell you he’s real damn sorry to hear that and ask what he can do for you and you’d tell him that you can’t read nor even write neither but you’re mighty good with horses and can mend them fallen fence posts what you saw on your way in and won’t ask for nothing much more than a hot meal and a warm barn to sleep in and he’d keep his wife and daughters inside but send his boy who aint for married even though his mama tells him he needs a woman out with a lantern and some stew at night and the two of you’d get to talking and he’d throw you his flask to take a swig from and watch you drinking from it while he leant against the door frame and when he finally got called back on up to the house again he’d take a sip from it too real slow-like like it weren’t the whiskey what he were tryna savorWARNING: Halfway through this story, it becomes about family loss and tuberculosis.

Summary
They didn't know how it happened or why it happened - the Force was involved, of course. But now thrown into the past, just after the Battle of Naboo and nearly 10 years before the start of the Clone Wars, Luke and Leia know they have been given a rare opportunity to not just make things better, but to make them right.
Trying to think of where to begin, Leia brings up that much of the acceptance of the Jedi purges was due to the growing perception that Jedi were more interested in making war than the peace they spoke of. Luke's New Jedi Order had been struggling to overcome it even now. One of Palpatine's greatest victories that even with his defeat and the collapse of the Empire, still pervaded much of the Mid- and Inner-Rim, to say nothing of the Core. Propaganda and control of information had been a keen weapon in the Emperor's arsenal.
Luke's fascination with the fact that there were actual holomovies about Jedi before the purges gives Leia an idea - one she doesn't have much trouble convincing her brother to go along with. All she had to say was "we're gonna fuck with the old man" and Luke Skywalker, Jedi Actor stepped into the limelight.

Granger may have grown up in his world but she’s nothing like the pureblood girls who were born into it. Pansy, Daphne, Astoria all with their neatly tailored robes, lithe bodies, and pale flawless skin. All demure omegas with impeccable breeding. They don’t have squib mothers or golden skin inherited from muggle fathers. They are too well groomed to ever have ink stains on their face or frizzy unkempt hair — too well trained to look at him with anything other than a shy glance and a soft smile. They certainly don’t have doe eyes that burn with defiance or curves that make his fingers twitch. No, they are nothing like Hermione Granger.

Summary
Slow burn from Four Marks which diverts at What Is Lost when Tissaia helps Yennefer escape before Cahir’s execution. They (eventually) live happily ever after. Basically me needing to fix things after watching S02.
TW for self harm (comparable to the show), blood and blood transfusion. I get icked by blood transfusion a bit and will put a note in of how to avoid it when we get to that chapter.
Thanks to mydear for tireless beta-ing (although any remaining errors are certainly mine). This is so so much better because of your input - you're usually right, although the fact you are is sometimes very annoying... ; )
