Then his classmate gave him a look. Then two classmates did. Then three.
Then someone muttered, “Dude, if you’re gonna cosplay Red Hood, at least carry the helmet. Coward.”
Jason blinked.
He looked down.
There was a red bat across his chest.
Oh no.
In which Jason goes viral after accidentally showing up to class in his Red Hood gear. Dick tries to make it better. Tim might have made it worse. The rest of his siblings are just enjoying the memes.

Summary
An AU where Tim was imprisoned by Black Mask for most of his adolescence, trained to be his successor. His reintroduction to Gotham - and to Gotham's vigilantes - could go a little smoother. At least enough of his morality sticks around that he can probably consider himself safe from being a supervillain.
Though he isn't quite sure he qualifies for "superhero," either.

She was already herding him toward the stage.

Consumes my every waking thought. I literally think abt this fic all the time. It reads like a published novel. The characters have such strong narrative voices, the writing is beautiful, the philosophical discussions are thought provoking and the world feels so fleshed out and expansive.
