Chuuya nodded and smirked, “Yeah, it’s a love motel. What do you think?”
Dazai held his breath as he sadly stared back at Chuuya before shifting his attention towards the motel. Was Chuuya into that kind of thing now? He didn’t think so, but then again, he hadn’t physically spent time with Chuuya in a long while.
“It’s so rundown. Why would you be interested in a place like that?” Dazai concealed his true thoughts and instead lightly made fun of Chuuya.
Chuuya and Dazai had been best friends for the longest time, supporting each other through thick and thin, but unavoidable circumstances caused them to temporarily part ways. Many years later, Chuuya was ready to welcome Dazai back into his life permanently, but Dazai, carrying a dark secret, had other plans in mind.

Summary
Chuuya doesn’t really reach his limit until they’ve been together for four years, and he’s feared for Dazai’s life so many times by that point that he thinks he’s mastered the heartbreak and the suffocating fear that his boyfriend could be gone if he lowers his guard for even a second.
Or: Dazai attempts, and Chuuya makes a very difficult decision.

Summary
