Summary
Seol lays silently in bed, breath slow and even as her brain conjures up peaceful dreams to entertain her in her sleep. The fan blows down cool air and the blanket covers her lower body. She grips the pillow gently as if it’s the stuffed animal from her childhood. The rain and low rumble of thunder keeps her in such a state. The weather always helps her sleep easier. Total silence gives her too much anxiety about the night.
In an instant, it all stops.

Emma pushes her against the wall in a dark room, her hand covering the idol’s mouth as she tries to protest. Her larger body pressing against the woman’s smaller frame as she looks over her shoulder, eyes sharp, watching the lit entrance of one of Klyntars factory halls. Several footsteps walk by with the chatter of the enemy looking for the two, shadows passing through the doorway and disappearing again. Emma watches carefully just to make sure they won’t come down here. She leans forward an inch or so and the psychic link with the idol flares.

After a moment of no biting, Illyana shrugs and gives up. “Okay.” She gets out of bed and stretches. Her own tank top rides up her body exposing the well earned muscles on her stomach. The woman also wears boxer briefs that are black with skulls splattered all over the fabric. “Guess I’ll take a shower by myself and take up all the hot water.”
Seol’s brows rise and she quickly hops out of bed, rushing past Illyana as she freezes the woman’s feet in place. “Not if I get there first.” She says cheekily.
Illyana's brain, much like her feet, freezes for a second before her body restarts and she moves again, breaking out of the ice with ease and entering the bathroom.
