Until it wasn’t.
“What are you doing?” breathed Thalia. She never joined the line that led to the brazier before meals, never really acknowledged it beyond that first night when she frowned at the explanation as to why the campers did what they did.
This time, though, she stood there, fists clenched, mere feet away from Percy. Her eyes sparked as if they contained lightning that she was barely holding back.
Percy straightened, tilting his head. He pulled his plate back toward his chest. “What do you mean?”

Summary
My contributions of Seafam Week 2023!
Day 1, Atlantean Life and Culture: Poseidon helps Percy fill out his first job application.
Day 2, Monster: Poseidon finds a way around his Greek/Roman headache and visits his son after Percy escapes Tartarus.
Day 3, Alternate Prompt: Percy accidentally sees Poseidon and Amphitrite making out, and is scarred for life. Triton and Hermes laugh at him.
Day 4, Nightmare / Cuddling: Percy has a nightmare, and accidentally hurts Amphitrite. Triton makes it worse. Poseidon makes it better.
Day 5, Rescue: Poseidon rescues Percy from Akhlys in Tartarus.
Day 6, Sea siblings: Tyson rebels against Poseidon and leaves to find Percy on his own.
Day 7, Fatally Wounded: AU where Percy gets stabbed in his mortal spot and Poseidon saves his life.- Words:

Summary
Ever since Percy found out that he was the son of Poseidon, Percy has been scared of hurting his loved ones. That fear has only gotten worse since his travels into Tartarus, and realizing that he was powerful enough to temporarily overpower and scare gods.
What happens when Percy lashes out in panic, and hurts Amphitrite? He's not naive enough to think that Poseidon will choose him over his immortal wife, who he has loved for eternity.
Sometimes the worst wounds are not the wounds of the flesh, but wounds of the mind.
Aka. Percy whumps himself. Triton makes it worse. Poseidon and Amphitrite try to help.

There was a part of Percy that had always felt like an outsider at Camp Half-Blood.
It's never felt worse than since returning from Tartarus. When one bad dream or errant cough might be enough to flood the shores of Camp.Percy knows he's spiralling, struggling to reign in his own powers- but there's nobody else who he can talk to about it. He'd taking to hiding from prying eyes, desperate to handle it alone- because that's what he was in navigating these powers, alone.
Until someone dares seek him out in the eye of one of his storms. Percy expects anything from the goddess from cold dismissal to open mockery for how out of control his powers were.

Athena’s eyes flash and glow, and she raises her hands. Annabeth closes her eyes, and everything in the air sizzles to a stop. There is a faint sea breeze, and then a familiar presence at her side.
“It would be unwise of you to hurt her.”
She opens her eyes to her boyfriend’s dad standing behind her, his eyes intent on her mother, who looks like she’s about to blow her top. Annabeth doesn’t breathe, doesn’t look away from Athena, but she takes several quick steps back to stand at Poseidon’s side. It’s not conscious; it’s a move based purely on self-preservation. Still, Annabeth is aware that every step she takes into the sea increases her mother’s ire and decreases the likelihood that Annabeth will ever be forgiven.

aka: Poseidon wants Percy to ascend. He'd like it even better if Percy chose to ascend. And if the best reason to become a god is for love, it doesn't take Poseidon long to realize that he doesn't have to look any further than Annabeth Chase. Meanwhile, while Annabeth is balancing PTSD, protecting Percy, and being a good daughter of a goddess who doesn't seem to care, she now has to figure out why she is on Poseidon's radar.

Percy knew he should leave, for his own sake. He knew that hearing the merfolk speak about him the way he was spoken about at his weakest would only leave him feeling more vulnerable and depressed.
He didn't leave. He stood there, if maybe even inched a little bit closer to try and deduce who was speaking and to hear even better.
A woman began to speak, her voice painfully high-pitched and he heard the clapping sound of two hands meeting together. “Father, please!” More rowdy laughter.

How couldn't he see that he should be using his powers less not more? If he didn't stop soon, she would have to take matters into her own handsPercy was conflicted on one hand it was exciting to explore his new powers and find new ways to use his current ones . However Annabeth's nagging and paranoia was slowly getting on his nerves. He doesn't know how much more he can take. Each incident was another strike on the wall and everyone knows what happens when it gets to three.

So there a lot of canon changes, the Olympian council does not know of Kymopoleia’s involvement in the war, because Percy doesn’t want her to get in trouble, trials of apollo isn’t happening, because I love Jason Grace and want him to live. Demigods have phones, because I said so. This is just Kym and Percy bonding, there will be a little bit of plot, but mainly just fluff.
