"I said left!" Techno yells into his headset, frustrated beyond belief.
"I thought you meant my left!" Wilbur argues from the other end of the call, still a bit dazed judging by how he holds onto the wall for stability for a couple of seconds.
Techno doesn't give a fuck. This is solely and entirely on Wilbur. "Wil. I'm watching from your point of view, your left is my left. You turned right and slammed into a wall."
A few beats of silence.
"... Ah."

Summary
Tommy had stormed away before they could continue to yell. Before they continued to fight. Before they continued to verbally tear each other apart the way they never did when they were kids.
But that was a long time ago.
Before Tommy became a burden. A strain on Wilbur’s life, health, finances.
(Because Wilbur did have a choice, really. He didn’t have to take Tommy in. Which means he still has a choice now—at any moment, he could decide to drop Tommy off into a system. It terrifies him. Like booming thunder and threats of a house fire, it terrifies him).
So when Tommy woke up the next day, head aching and nose running, he swore he wouldn’t let Wilbur know.

After an argument, Tommy decides to hide a sickness from Wilbur. Which means that when he passes out in the middle of a rainstorm, Techno is the one that has to take him home--but Tommy is incoherent, except for his insistence that he has been abandoned. It's up to Techno to decide if Tommy should make it home.

It was a beautiful pink fan-shaped shell that was small enough that he should be able to put it on his necklace. It even had a small hole in it already, like it was designed for Tommy to put on his necklace.
It was perfect to represent his dad on his necklace.

Or: Tommy accidentally breaks his dad's favorite necklace but they fix it and they make one together afterwards. (And they're merfolk and it's dadnoblade.)

Summary
The blood led into the toddlers play room, which Tommy stiffened at. He was so glad that he put the easiest floor to clean in there, or else he might have murdered the bitch for going in there. All caution gone, he strutted into the room only to see a hulking mess on the floor.
The dude was really big, pinkish fur matted with blood and other gore. He, or well, Tommy thought they were a he, seemed to be having trouble breathing. Rough wheezes could be heard through the room, and the dude was all the way across the room...
Tommy doesn't believe the world does anything but take. So he takes from it while it takes from him. He was fine with Michael and Shroud until a harmed villain just happen to pick his house to die in. He was just a 15 year old trying to have some fun. Why did his life have to go even more shit?
