Now somehow the immensely adorable nine-year-old Anakin is her apprentice, and he’s not even her only apprentice. Maul is obsessed with her. She’s giving the Jedi Order a rude awakening. There might be a chance to stop Dooku from becoming a Sith. The Republic is falling apart in an entirely unfamiliar way. And that’s just the beginning.
Whether or not all this change will be a good thing remains to be seen.
And there’s one thing Ahsoka cannot let happen: Darth Vader. She doesn’t know who he is or where he came from, but she does know that she’s going to find the unstoppable monster who terrorized the galaxy once, and she’s going to kill him.

Dr. Daniel Jackson is kind of annoyed. The first real archeological job he's had in three years, and it's shut down due to..an alien attack?! But worrying about his academic reputation seems kind of petty in the face of the magnitude of this disaster. When he gets the message that the US military is looking for him, he figures it has to be mistaken identity. After all, why on earth would they be interested in him?

And if Halt thought, for a moment, that perhaps he could be something else, were he to choose it – someone else, clad in cloaks instead of steel plates, carrying a concealed necklace instead of the brightly-dyed emblem of his battleschool, trained further, much further in archery than the average knight was, well – those were thoughts for Halt to keep to himself.

Barnes weighed exhaustion against disgust as he considered resting his forehead on the edge of the toilet bowl. Disgust won, and he sat back on his heels instead. He turned his head far enough to look at the boy standing in the bathroom doorway.
"Peachy," he rasped. He wasn’t used to having company during his post-mission freakouts. If he'd been alone he would have stripped by the front door so he could just roll his body into the bathtub to hose off, but he hadn't wanted to undress in front of the teenagers. He was still pretty fuzzy on the rules of being a person, but don't traumatize children with your horror show of a body seemed like common fucking courtesy. “This happens every time.”
He realized his mistake as the silence stretched.
“Every time you...blow up a building?” The kid sounded like he was trying very hard to be open-minded. “Is that, like, your hobby?”
(The Winter Soldier finds Pietro and Wanda trapped in a Hydra basement, and it’s not like James Buchanan Barnes can just leave them there.)
