Summary
A group of 9 ragtag Cuban students with no money or resources send a pilot into space on a makeshift spacecraft. Keith never really believed anyone ever made it to space. He went around thinking that was a faked stunt considering the amount of proof against it. When looked into files the Galaxy Garrison kept to prove it he found he was wrong. Lance Mclain, a Garrison reject, managed to do the improbable and send himself into space with nothing but wits and determination. Keith realized he was just kinda too into conspiracies.
About a year later he found a huge blue mechanical lion with Hunk and Pidge. His brother, Shiro, was there too but was knocked out for most of due to a biking incident Keith caused.
After weeks of messing with the lion, they managed to accidentally launch themselves into space. A lot of crazy events happened after that; they found a space castle, four other lions, a princess, and her advisor. Now they fight evil in order to save the universe from being enslaved by the evil alien race called the Galra.
The team has done so much in a year's time to fight the empire, and now their working on a plan that can put their tyranny to an end. -
