    During one routine hack, she stumbled upon something hidden beneath layers of classified government networks—a Machine that quietly watches the world and predicts acts of violence before they happen.

    Skye did what she always does when faced with a locked door and a bad idea—she opened it. That open door showed too much. So, instead of exposing the secret and walking away, she went against her instinct and made a decision.

    Unfortunately, that one impulsive decision drew the Machine's attention and it started watching her back.
