    “I’d love to meet with you,” Davey said, apologetically, when he had been called up by a fellow looking to initiate therapy, “but I’m all booked up for months.”

    “Are you sure?” The fellow said, through a poor connection that crackled.

    Davey had been sure. And yet. Right there in his calendar was a blank spot, just a few days away, which he had somehow completely overlooked before. “How about that…I’ve got Wednesday at eleven, if you can make that work.”

    “What a miracle,” the fellow said, “that would be just the perfect time.”

    Summary

    As soon as Aubrey Thyme, psychotherapist, had opened her office door and seen her new client, Anthony J. Crowley, sitting in her waiting area, she was observing and assessing him. At first glance, she paid attention to the following:

    --His clothing was expensive and stylish;
    --He wore very strange but noticeable cologne;
    --His relationship to the seat he occupied could only, very loosely, be described as “sitting;”
    --He looked angry;
    --He was wearing sunglasses.

    What Aubrey Thyme, a professional, thought, upon first seeing her new client was: you’re going to be a fun one, aren’t you?

    Summary

    Jihoon definitely looks like one of those artsy, exhaustively cultured types; prim and pretty and hella pretentious, who’s only resigned himself to a retail job cause selling his art prints on TikTok shop didn’t pan out, and the bank of Mom and Dad wasn’t willing to bank roll his granola lifestyle anymore.

    Seungcheol knows the type well, sees about a dozen of them roll through the store every year.

    He’s ready to bet good money Jihoon’s going to call in sick at least twice before end of the month, throw a fit when his application for time-off over the Christmas period gets rejected (but then take the time-off anyway), and then resign dramatically after his first bad performance review, refuse to work his notice period, only to storm back in a month later, furious that they’re not willing to provide him with a glowing reference.

    At least, that’s what the last three guys who worked the customer service desk did. But hey—maybe this time it will be different.

    You’re listening to Season Two of Red Rabbits, the Case of the Newark 9. My name is Robin Cross. I’m number 8. And I survived.
    Disclaimer: This season is dark. We won't pretend it's not. It's dark and it's not for the faint of heart, but we really tried to make every single action we take justified. Nothing that is tagged under abuse or otherwise is current and it is in no way detailed, whatsoever. We really took every reference seriously and there will be a list of triggers before every single chapter. It's part of the reason why getting this story out took so long. We want you all to know we have been double and triple checking ourselves to make sure every topic in this Season is handled properly. If there are any questions, please message us via the links in the AN of ch 1.

    Summary

    Andrew Minyard is a successful journalist, writing hit pieces to take down and uncover decay in big institutions. When he starts looking into the mysterious disappearance of Mary and Nathaniel Wesninski, that all disappears. Suddenly, he finds himself blacklisted in his line of work. Unable to move forward with the piece, he finds a platform with The Foxhole Network, the communications department at his Alama Mater. With the help of the TFN team, he puts together a podcast and goes on the hunt for Mary and Nathaniel, following leads sent by their listeners and connecting dots that hadn't bothered to be connected before.
    -
    Neil Josten has stayed in the same place for far too long. He knows this, but he's grown comfortable. That is until he hears a deep voice through a set of speakers - a podcast host asking the question he didn't want to be answered most: What happened to Mary and Nathaniel? Neil does the only thing he knows how. He runs. But he runs into more problems than solutions.
