Summary
"Something super special came in this week you should check out.”
Franky brushes non-existent dust from the counter before placing down a module case. The contents are visible behind the clear walls of its container and Zoro’s eyebrows raise in surprise as he reads the brand listed along the edge of the equipment.
“A Germa66 module?”“Not just any module- One of their mercenary companions.” Franky grins, popping the case open with a nudge of his thumb. “You’ve seen the standard runs, I’ll bet. Poison Pink, Sparking Red, Dengeki Blue, Winch Green…”
Zoro huffs. “Hard to miss’em,” he grunts. The ads for them are plastered across the city, half the bounty hunters at the top of the boards carried one of them.
With a careful pinch of his fingers, the cyborg lifts the module up so that it catches the light. “This one, though-” He murmurs. “Is one I’ve never seen in production before.”
The edges of the module highlight cerulean blue under the shop's fluorescents. The printed white of bold text stands out across the front.

Summary
Sanji makes a soft noise, folding into Zoro’s side with a hum, his lithe hands curling around his partner's waist as he dips his nose into the curve of his neck.
Zoro slides a palm along the length of his spine, enjoying the closeness for a moment.
Sanji treats his profession with unbending honor and passion. He demands perfection that no one but himself can define, and no one else can meet. It’s one of the many things Zoro loves about him.
But Sanji bears the title of lover just as fiercely.
It’s not often that Zoro is able to return care to the same degree. On a usual evening, Sanji would bat his hands away before Zoro got this far, demanding control of the situation by way of curses and kisses.
But tonight- Sanji only leans closer.

“You’re fucking heavy,” Zoro groans, muscles straining as he lugs his stupid mermaid boyfriend ashore.
“You’re ruining the romance, asshole,” Sanji gripes, his nails digging into the meat of Zoro’s biceps as his tail slaps against the shallows with audible irritation.
“Shut up,” Zoro barks out, jaw tight around a grin. “I’ll ravage you once I won’t drown to do it.”
“Sounds noncommittal.”

Summary
The mermaid swims up to the glass, climbing in the current until he reaches the third tier of the viewing platforms- right where Zoro is standing. Their faces align on opposite sides of the glass and Zoro feels his breath catch.
He's smiling. A charming twist of his lips as vibrant blue eyes gleam in the light of the tank. His hair halos his features, his bangs floating away and showing off an unusual set of curled eyebrows. His ears are pointed and webbed, and there's a smattering of iridescent scales across his cheeks that sparkle like freckled gemstones, accentuating the narrow cut of his jaw.
Fuck- He’s beautiful.
And then, the mermaid opens his mouth.
“I don’t qualify as a fish."

Summary
The front door swings open, the hinges complaining loudly as the dark vestiges of the foyer greet them.
And then, from the shadows, a set of weary, curious eyes greets them. “Good evening?”
Nami, Usopp, and Chopper huddle together with a tight screech. “A ghost!?”
“Shut up!” Zoro groans.
“Hi!” Luffy waves. “We almost ran into your island, so we came to explore.”
Sanji clears his throat and takes a diminutive step forward. “Apologies for our abrupt arrival. We just wanted to check if everyone accounted for in your household? I’m, uh… concerned one of your residents may have taken a fall off the cliffs. ”
“That sounds worse.” Zoro mumbles, grunting when Sanji rams an elbow into his ribs.
The shadow steps forward, his features reaching the angled moonlight. It’s a young man of slight build and brown hair tied back in a low ponytail. He wears a gray suit, with the tarnished silver chain of a pocketwatch tucked in his waistcoat.
“Ah- He intones, offering the crew a formal nod in welcome. “You’ve seen the lady of the manor.”
His words are met with silence.
“Pardon?” Sanji blurts out.

Summary
Sanji woke up. His arms were aching. He cracked his eyes open and saw that he was lying on a cold cement floor. His arms were tied in front of him, the rope digging roughly into his skin.
All he could remember from the fight was the walls pressing in on him. He’d used the narrow space to his advantage and managed a few clean, swift kicks to his opponents’ faces before his vision had gone black.
How embarrassing, to be so easily knocked unconscious.

Summary
It's not the first time they've been becalmed, but it's the first due to a field of ice for as far as the eye can see. Excluding, of course, the snow and ice covered island a few leagues ahead of them. With the speed of Sanji's skywalking and his responsibility to keep the crew fed, it's only reasonable that he should be the one to go to the island to restock supplies.
Or: They sail in strange waters and encounter strange things. Sanji should have known better.
