“Is it… always this big? Like, is that normal?”
“Zoey! You can’t just say something like that.” Rumi’s palm drags down her face, exasperation and fondness mixing across her features before she stares back at Mira.
Mira who is sitting on their bed. Her shorts are a pile on the floor somewhere, and Mira’s panties are still dangling by her ankle, the fabric rolled up to conveniently hide the damp center.
“Girls, please…,” Mira huffs, the skin surrounding her cheeks a flushed shade of pink from their casual tone while discussing such depravity. It looks good on her though, Rumi thinks as she places a hand on Mira’s knee, her thumb massaging soft circles at the crease of it. Mira’s eyes dart down at Rumi’s hands before they avert. It has Rumi smirking, smug at the desperation beginning to shine in Mira’s dilated eyes.
“Can we not talk about my clit like I’m not here. I’m dying here.” A groan leaves Mira’s lips, soft and long like she’s suffering if one of them doesn’t touch her within the next five seconds.

Rumi is confused, distraught, and hides what they did, thinking it will ruin them. The two don't seemingly remember, thus when a tear opens Rumi is distracted during the fight. Rumi is injured leading to the reveal of not only her patterns but her other demonic traits.
Rumi escapes badly wounded.
Before she does something rash, Rumi finds another Half-Demon. A teenager by the name of Maeve, who the Honmoon has already chosen to be a part of the next generation. How could the Honmoon think this was a good idea?

Summary
Secrets mean that she's still safe. That she hasn't ruined her only chance at fixing herself yet.
So when Rumi begins having less-than-appropriate thoughts about her bandmates, it's just another thing she adds to the shelf.
They were nothing more than intrusive thoughts at first.
Everyone gets those. Who hasn't accidentally imagined their friends in a sexual context at least once? It happens, and she knows it doesn't mean anything. Mira and Zoey are objectively incredibly attractive, it can easily be explained as a completely normal compulsion.
So life goes on. Things are normal, and every now and again Rumi thinks about fucking her friends.

Maybe it was because of this shared grief, this moment of reluctant acceptance in the air, that caused Zoey to do what she did next.
Or maybe it was the emptiness in her chest that felt like a part of her soul was missing.
Either way, Zoey grabbed Mira's hand, dragging her away from the scene of the crime, towards the next sin about to be committed in their home.
or as Rumi pulls away from Zoey and Mira, they decide the best way to help get over their feelings for her is to have meaningless sex with each other. It doesn't mean anything if they don't kiss, right?
