The sky remained grey with mushy lighter clouds, rain poured like spears on the roof of the car. Cold air from the air-conditioner brushed Nene’s face while she stared at her phone screen. She was outside of Klev’s home, unsure of how much time had passed. She couldn’t be bothered to look at the time even if she wanted to, as she was too fixated on the call button of her phone.
